What in the world was Jennifer Lopez wearing over at the Tommy Hilfiger and Top Shop openings in West Hollywood on Wednesday night? The pop singer and actress normally blows me away with her exquisite style and fashion-forward outfits, but not even J.Lo herself was able to pull off this incredibly bizarre silver mosaic dress. I guess even she can miss the fashion mark every once in a while.

Why is this ensemble all wrong? For one, the thick and unflattering garment drowned her killer curves. The print was kind of overwhelming and to top it off she chose to wear it with black opaque tights and orange and leather peep toe platforms. Peep toes and stockings? Definitely a fashion NO! While this look was certainly not one of Jennifer's best, she's definitely has had her fair share of stylish moments. In fact I'm going to let this epic fashion fail slide, because we're all entitled to a down day, right? To take my mind off of this unusual frock, let's go back into time and reminisce on some of my favorite fashion moments from the style icon!

Jennifer shimmered at the 2011 Grammy awards in a short metallic dress by Emilio Pucci. She paired it with glamorous Christian Louboutin pumps, Cartier jewels and a Goa crystal clutch by Daniel Swarovski.
Glamour Women of the Year Awards
The certified diva was honored with the All-Star Award at the Glamour 2011 Women of the Year Awards for managing to juggle a career in music, television, film, beauty, fashion, as well as being an amazing mother to her young twins. She dressed appropriately to the event in a stunning Atelier Versace dress that featured a high slit and beautiful leather petals. She looked absolutely stunning!
2012 Academy Awards
The former American Idol judge was the talk of the night at the 2012 Academy Awards stunning in a sheer Zuhair Murad gown. She looked so fabulous I quickly forgot all about her nip slip wardrobe malfunction.
2013 Golden Globes
Once again, Jennifer wasn’t afraid to show a little skin on the red carpet. She attended the this year's Golden Globe awards in another sheer Zuhair Murad dress that showed off her amazing curves.
