As much as I love dolling myself up, waking up early to do my hair and makeup has become a time-consuming pain in my butt. Lately I've been finding myself leaving the house without a drop of makeup and my tresses completely untouched, all in the effort to leave the house early and get to work on time (not to mention I could always use a few extra minutes of shut eye, of course).
So, I've been trying to figure out ways to shave some time off of my beauty routine and still look pulled together. Maybe you're not a morning person or just the kind of chica who is always running a little late, these helpful tips will get you gorgeous quick. We may be a little lazy every now and then, but that doesn't mean we have to ACTUALLY look it!

Dry shampoo

I’ve already come to terms with the fact that I’ll never be that chick that wakes up early in the morning to wash and style her hair. Let’s face it, washing and drying your hair in the morning is the biggest time drainer. It could literally take hours. Luckily for me I don’t have oily hair so I can get away with skipping a few washes, but if your hair gets extra-oily after a day try using a dry shampoo before going to bed and again in the morning. This will help absorb any sweat from when you were sleeping and excess oils. I highly recommend John Frieda Luxurious Volume Anytime Volume Refresher ($7). It’s the best I’ve tried!
Red lipstick

If you’re super short on time, slap on a bold, lip color. A classic red lipstick will definitely do the trick. Try a fool-proof one, like Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick in Top Tomato ($11). This long-lasting formula is super easy to apply and stays on for hours!
Blush

A little blush can go a long way. Add some cream blush to the apple of your cheeks for an instant pick-me-up. I love Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge for Lips and Cheeks in Pink Rose ($25). It gives my complexion a healthy, natural-looking flush.
A 3-in-1

There are times when the idea of having to apply moisturizer, SPF and foundation seems exhausting. I make my life easier by applying a lightweight tinted moisturizer that includes all those amazing benefits. Try Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 ($43).
Mascara

No time to fuss with the eyelash curler? No problem! Two coats of a super black mascara with curling properties will without a doubt, widen the appearance of your eyes. I’m addicted to CoverGirl LashBlast Clump Crusher Mascara in Very Black ($8). The curved brush perfectly curls my lashes without the clumps.
Eyeshadow stick

Applying eyeshadow can be very time consuming. But a do-it-all formula, like the Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick ($28) glides on quickly and easily. All you have to do is swipe on and you’re good to go!
Keep face clean with wipes

Just came home from a long day and can’t seem to get yourself to the sink? Don’t take it on your skin, grab these on-the-go wipes and remove dirt and makeup in just a few swipes.
