10 Spring fashion items every Latina must own in 2013

Trumpet skirts, burglar stripes, emerald dresses, and Bermuda shorts are only a few of the latest trends I've recently spotted for the spring season. I already gave you the scoop on some of the dreamy fashions you can expect to see come March, but even though we're still in the middle of winter doesn't mean you can't get a head start shopping for some of these fresh, new styles.

I love how wearable these ultra-chic trends are and a lot of them have some real potential to last. Check out a few of these fashionable numbers that are bound to get you set for the season!

Emerald green

Emerald green is Pantone’s top color for 2013. I love the way the vibrant color looks on this super chic asymmetrical dress. I’d wear it with some nude ankle-strap platform sandals, for a look that’s both feminine and very fashion- forward.

Acid wash jeans are going to be back next season, but to prevent from looking to 80s, try a neutral gray shade like these. This color would look great paired with bright tops or accessories.

I have to admit, I was pretty excited when I heard these shorts were coming back in style. Bermuda shorts were seen all over the Spring 2013 Fashion Week runways shows like Rachel Zoe and DKNY. These cool-girl shorts are not just flattering on all figures, but they can also be easily dressed up or down.
