I'm one of those rare New Yorkers who doesn't have a whole lot of tolerance for brutally cold weather. While you were probably dreaming of a white Christmas, I was praying for 50 degree weather. It's strange, I know. But now that the holiday season is about to wrap up, I already have chic warm-weather fashion on my mind. And if you know me well enough, you know that includes shoes! Take these beautiful Valentino Couture bow pumps for instance. These peep toe stilettos are technically made for spring, but the blazing red shade makes them work even now while we're still in the middle of the dead winter.

So even though I have no control over the weather, I can still get a head start on my spring fashion without looking completely ridiculous. They'd look so good in the mix of winter neutrals. It's also a great way for me to give some of my classic black pairs a rest. Don't these shoes look like they'd make any outfit 100 times more elegant? The feminine lace trimmed in satin gives it such a sophisticated and ladylike touch.
I honestly can't think of a better pair of heels to transition from winter to spring. And you know what they say about red high heels right? Just like black pumps, red heels are classic and never go out of style. I can't tell you how many celebs I've spotted this year rocking ruby red stilettos.
But unlike black high heels, these might not go with everything. But they'll definitely jazz up any old LBD. In fact these would be perfect for a New Year's Eve party. Don't you think? I don't know about you, but I'll definitely take a pair of these one-of-a-kind shoes over a white Christmas any day of the week. Do NOT underestimate their chic-ness.
