Are your eyes looking kind of tired? Make them look bright and wide-awake, like Camilla Belle’s here,  by tracing your upper lash lines and lower eye rims with a frosty or white shimmery liner. Try,  Sephora Collection Jumbo Liner 12 HR Wear Waterproof in White ($14).

Trade in your black liner for a cobalt blue to achieve a bright and bold look like Eva Mendes’s. Just line your lower lash lines only, using a soft blue pencil, like NARS Larger Than Life Eyeliner in Abbey Road ($23) for an effortless pop of color.

For a holiday-friendly look, add a touch of bronze to your classic cat-eye by lining your upper and lower lashes with a bronzey shadow liner, like Smashbox Waterproof Shadow Liner in Metallic Marble ($22). Intensify the look with two or three coats of a volumizing mascara, like CoverGirl LashBlast Clump Crusher ($7).

To achieve this retro- inspired look, dip the tip of an ultra fine eyeliner brush in a gel eyeliner pot, like Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner ($22). Gel formulas glide on easily without the smear or crease. Line upper lash lines first, then go over them starting from the corner of your eye working your way outward to create the wing.

Once you’ve applied your shadows, the trick to smoking out the look is to line your lash lines with a soft pencil liner, like Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil ($19). Then smudge the liner using an eyeshadow smudge brush or cotton swab to create the dramatic smoky effect.
