Well there's a shoe you don't see everyday! Puerto Rican model, Joan Smalls sported these uniquely chic knee-high sandals during this week's Fashion Week Russia. The $695 Alexander Wang T-strap sandals feature a cool geometric heel and a tall, slim harness that hits right below the knee. If you're like me, and dying to snag these babies, you should probably know that they aren't up for sale yet. But you better believe that I'll be stalking the Alexander Wang site until they're finally out!

Why am I so obsessed with these shoes? Well for starters, they definitely elongate your legs. Just look at how long Smalls' stems look in these insanely cool sandals! And second, they are bound to oomph up even the simplest outfit. Again, Smalls wore a pretty basic brown long-sleeved mini dress, which without the shoes wouldn't have really said much. But these sexy stunners totally jazzed up her look, and honestly who doesn't want that in a shoe? I know, I do! Hence why I'm so unbelievably in love with these heels I can practically marry them!
Okay, now with the temperature dropping, these strappy sandals aren't exactly practical. But I wouldn't mind storing these away until the springtime. After all, they aren't even available yet, so it's not like they'll be going out of style anytime soon. And if you really wanted to wear these shoes now, you could probably get away with pairing them with a simple, long-sleeved mini dress like Smalls'. Either way, whatever season, I'd make it work! Being a minimalist myself, I really appreciate the architectural structure and simplicity that these heels display. As eye-catching as they may be, if you give them a second look you'll notice that these shoes are pretty sleek and classy looking. They're the perfect combination of edgy and simple–just what I need to spruce up some of my old LBDs!
