If there's someone who knows how to own the cat-eye look it's Naya Rivera! The Glee star recently sported an even cooler version of the classic style at the American Horror Story: Asylum premiere in Los Angeles. What I loved about this particular cat-eye was the unexpected pop of bronze. The color gave it a softer, romantic touch and really brought out Naya's big brown eyes.
The trick to achieving this look is using an eye shadow rather than an eyeliner. Check out a few of my tips below to get this sexy look yourself at home!

Step 1: Start off by curling your eyelashes using an eye lash curler like Sally Hansen Flirty Eyes Eyelash Curler ($3). Then dot on a layer of eyeshadow primer to prevent your color from migrating. I love Too Faced Shadow Insurance Anti-Crease Eye Shadow Primer ($18).
Step 2: Using a pointed eyeliner brush, glide on a bronze shadow, like MAC Eyeshadow in Antiqued ($15) directly above your upper lash line and then right under your lower lash line. Now trace a line along your upper lid crease, moving outward to create your winged-out edge.
Step 3: Take an eyeshadow smudge brush and blend in the shadow a little to soften it up. Still too complicated for you? For a quicker fix, try Smashbox Waterproof Shadow Liner in Metallic Bronze ($22). The built-in smudger makes it super easy to create dramatic smudged styles.
Step 4: Finish it off with two or three coats of a lengthening mascara, like Lancôme Oscillation Intensity Mascara ($35) for a sexy, dramatic look!
