1. Stay healthy

The first rule to beautiful skin is to start on the inside. Make sure you are drinking plenty of water throughout the day to help flush out water retention and keep your body hydrated. Opt for at least 8 full glasses of water a day; this will also help keep skin clear. A balanced diet, good vitamins (prenatal or multi), and plenty of fruits and veggies will also contribute to a healthy and clear complexion.
2. Exfoliate

Make sure you're washing your face every morning and every night. Your skin might be a little more sensitive than usual, so go for a gentle cleanser like Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser. To improve circulation and remove dead skin cells, use a gentle exfoliator like St. Ives Apricot Scrub.
3. Moisturize

Apply a deeply hydrating serum like Truth Serum before your moisturizer for a flawless complexion. Opt for a serum that is oil-free and contains a collagen-boosting formula. This will leave your skin bright, smooth and plump. Not to mention, also help your makeup go on better.
4. Stay away from powder foundations!

If you want a naturally dewy complexion, powder foundation or a mineral powder won't cut it. Look for a lightweight liquid foundation or tinted moisturizer that will give the illusion that you're wearing nothing. You want your skin to look weightless and flawless, not heavy and cakey. Try Benefit Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Brightening Makeup: it contains light diffusing properties that help give skin a more healthy and luminous look.
5. Cover Imperfections

Give yourself a little pick me up with Laura Mercier Secret Brightener to hide any dark circles, shadows or discolorations.
6. Highlight your assets

Take a highlighter and apply along your cheek bones, nose and brow bones to create a nice, radiant glow. I like Benefit's High Beam. This highlighter in a bottle works perfectly on a range of skin tones!
7. Blush it on

For a nice wash of color and a gorgeous flushed look, add a cream based blush on the apple of your cheeks. Revlon Cream Blush in Rosy Glow will give skin some natural looking color and won't look like you're trying too hard!
8. Finish with lips

Top off your look with a shimmery lip gloss like NARS Larger Than Life Lip Gloss in Gold Digger to highlight your pout.
