It should probably come as no surprise that Panama-born half-Brazilian star of the current Dallas revival Jordana Brewster loves shopping (I mean, what Latina doesn't?!) but what I'm a little shocked by is that she's actually doing plenty of shopping for her own super chic character, Elena Ramos. And, of course, it doesn't hurt that she's getting to do all this fun shopping at high-end boutiques without a budget! Um, yes, I think I want that job, too.

Okay, honestly, most of my shopping pretty much involves a weekly trip to TJ Maxx or occasionally swinging my H&M or Forever 21 on my way home from work because I just HAVE to have some random piece of seasonal wear (like when I was obsessing over this summer's cute bright-colored jackets) but I would definitely NOT mind shopping for some of Elena's low maintenance outfits, either. Jordana obviously enjoys it too, telling InStyle.com:
What I love most about shooting Dallas and working with the wardrobe is that the costume designer takes me shopping. She's like, 'Let's go shopping and do it that way.' The budget is unlimited in that scenario. I've never had so much fun shopping.

Girl, I would probably be having just as much fun! Wouldn't you? I think I would likely freeze up in front of the camera but, hey, shopping without a budget? Yes, please! Jordana's even got high hopes for expanding her character's wardrobe in the future, telling them that she hopes that "next season she's in the office a little more and that we get to spruce her up a bit." Well, I definitely can't wait. And, Jordana, if you need someone to help you with the shopping, just let me know!
