I love the summer and I love swimming, but this is a recent phenomenon for me. After two C-sections and breastfeeding, I was very self-conscious about my body and hated to let anybody see me in a swimsuit.
Hiding wasn't that hard when I lived in NYC, then we moved to South Florida. We live 15 minutes from the ocean and have a house with a swimming pool. It was impossible not to wear a swimming swimsuit, so I decided to apply what I knew about fashion to my swimwear. To my surprise, I found ways to minimize things I am conscious about!
Based on my research, I discovered flattering swimsuits that hide and veer an onlooker's eyes away from bulging tummies and other commom post-pregnancy problems.

Multi-tasking bathing suit

This blue polka dot number slims your sides and tummy. If you're conscious about your breasts, the underwire bra will help you lots.

Bare a little tummy

This gorgeous grey two- piece helps with a less than flat belly and the top works with all types of breasts. What I love most about it, though, is how the color goes with any kind of accessory. For a trendy look, you can combine it with a woody chunky bangle for a tribal look, or something neon.

Flirty onepiece

This swimsuit is great for hiding a tummy. I also love how the combination of blue, red, and white pipping subtly play on the sea motif.

Miracle in bathing suit

Meet your BFF and secret weapon for the summer. It has a body shaper underneath and black never goes out of style.

Your go-to tankini

This suit offers the versatility of a two piece without being too revealing. The sweetheart neckline and silver accessory gives this sporty piece a touch of elegance and its design helps women with small breasts and a jiggly abdominal area.

Minimize your butt

This is the ideal piece if you are not happy with your backside. Hides those imperfections that drive you crazy, either because it is too big or too small. It is also a very sexy swimsuit and puts you right on the nautical trend.
Minimizing in the right places

Rouched sides, one shoulder, multi-patterned, asymmetrical. What is not to like? This is one of my favorite swimsuits this season, not only because flatters my less than slim body, but because it transitions really well into an outfit. The rouche hides my middle and the one shoulder design directs the eye to the top of the body. Just remember not to sunbathe in it. Can you imagine that tan?
