Nobody can deny that Eva Longoria is one gorgeous woman. She dazzled me in her amazing gowns during the Cannes Film Festival last month. Now she's pulling it off again at the Monte Carlo Television Festival in Monaco, wearing a gorgeous strapless draped origami gown by Marchesa. Though, to be honest, it's her beautiful silver smokey eyes (and simple, sleek updo) that actually caught my eye. I mean, how GORGEOUS are those silver smokey eyes?! I think I am officially obsessed.

I've actually played around with silver eye shadow a few times in my life. But in the past I've kept it pretty simple. In fact, I typically keep my eyes pretty simple and just go with some fun eyeliner looks instead. I also like playing around with summer eye makeup trends, like doing a bright turquoise on my lids. Looking at Eva's latest look, though, seriously inspires me to try this whole silver smokey eyes thing.

When I found the tutorial video (below), I got even MORE excited. As she says, a silver smokey eye is the perfect look because it can actually be fitting for any occasion. And I have quite a big occasion this weekend! My friend is getting married and I've already bought myself a cute sequined dress—now all I need to do is copy Eva's makeup and I will surely look perfect.
