Loved everything about the red carpet at Premio lo Nuestro this year! Another great example of how Latinas take fashion to heart and rarely dissapoint.

The evening's hostess, Jacqueline Bracamontes, might have come with new husband Martín, but it was another man who made her shine in the red carpet (for the record, I wasn't a fan of all of her dress choices for the night)! I'm talking about her favorite designer and dear friend Nicolás Felizola. The Venezuelan designer spent days working with the Mexican beauty and I'm glad he did, because this dress was to die for.
While it might be true that the whole craziness on stage during Alejandra Guzman's performance was not the highlight of the evening, on the red carpet she looked divine in an Alexander McQueen three piece dress (photo here is missing the jacket) that was somber but so chic! I loved the color block and the accessories too (Alexander McQueen's as well), the perfect finishing touches for a look that rocked the red carpet
Yet another Mexican put her best fashion foot forward last night! Elizabeth Gutiérrez arrived solo at the event, but was gorgeous in a sparkly pink dress by designer Rosita Hurtado. The creation featured a long slit up her left leg and a beautiful back. "I feel super, super femenine," she said. "(The dress) couldn't have been more beautiful!"
Blanca Soto (yes, Mexican too!) was delicate all in white. The El Talismán lead actress sported a very romantic hairstyle and gorgeous earrings. Beautiful!
And of course it's not possible that only the Mexican contigency stole looks at the red carpet in this starry night. Here are the honorable mentions of another few I was thrilled to see as well…
You couldn't miss, Alicia Machado, a pure reflection of beauty this evening. She was stunning and sexy in an all mirror dress that made her look like a beautiful ice sculpture.
Two Puerto Ricans were like jewels in the pre-awards presentation: Giselle Blondet (in an electric blue Monique Lhuillier dress) and former Primer Impacto buddy Bárbara Bermudo, also in a strapless dress but showing off the fuschia trend.
And since fashion is not only a thing for ladies, these gentlemen that had a thing or two to say about style were right up there with the other best dressed…
Chino (left) won over Nacho (although the two looked great together!) for a look that says "metal" trend to me… The Venezuelan was modern yet classic. Nicely done Chino!
New dad Luis Fonsi did not bring Agueda nor little Mikaela, but looked just as handsome as he always manages to! Classic and elegant!
Tito "El Bambino". This Puerto Rican fashionista pulled it together with the help of David Antonio (also from the island) in a grey suit featuring orange tie and handkerchief.
Aarón Díaz, from El Talismán, was another favorite in a tailored black suit. Loved him!
All in all, a great night for Latino fashion!
