This morning I clicked on a video link on my laptop and seconds later I heard the pitter patter of little feet running towards me. Sesame Street's version,"El Patito," features who else but Ernie's buddy Rubber Duckie. We're all familiar with how special that relationship is, so no surprise there.
Rosita lends back up vocals and handles the guitar riffs, and of course Bert is there to add a bit of cynicism.
To be honest, Sesame Street is pretty much always a hit for both my toddler and my kindergartner, but they especially love the YouTube song videos, whether they're the actual artists singing, like in Usher's ABCs or parodies like this one by Ernie, Rosita and Bert.
I'm glad the people over at Sesame Street finally caught onto the "Despacito" craze, because even though I sometimes get tired of hearing it at this point, we all know kids can happily listen to the same song over and over … and over. Mine have been fans of this Fonsi-Daddy Yankee hit since they saw the viral video featuring a pug in a Hawaiian shirt.
