Kourtney Kardashian shares rare new photo of her son Rocky

The Kardashian-Jenner family has allowed cameras into their lives since 2007 when Keeping Up With the Kardashians premiered. Through the years, Kris Jenner‘s daughters have built massive social media followings and business empires based on their images. Not all of them have been so open about exposing their kids. But recently, Kourtney Kardashian shared a rare new photo of her son, Rocky.

As a refresher, Kourtney is a mom of four. She shares Mason, 15, Penelope, 12, and Reign, 10, with her ex, Scott Disick. Meanwhile, her husband, Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, has three kids from his marriage with Shanna Moakler: Atiana De La Hoya, 25, (whom Shanna shares with her ex, retired boxer Oscar De La Hoya), Landon, 21, and Alabama, 19. On November 1, 2023, Kourtney and Travis welcomed Rocky Thirteen Barker, their first child together, after struggling to conceive.

In February, Kourtney Kardashian’s son, Rocky, showed up in a rare photo on Instagram.

On February 11, Kourtney, 45, took to Instagram with a photo dump for her followers. The featured image showed her rocking a red dress with a black pattern while leaning forward to show off her cleavage. Other shots included Travis, Christmas decorations, tasty-looking baked goods, and a shot of Rocky, 1.

Many followers couldn’t help but gush over the sweet snap.

Unsurprisingly, Kourtney’s followers honed in on the rare picture of Rocky in the comments.

One Instagram user wrote, “awwww baby rockyyyyy,” while another shared, “Baby Rocky â€ïžđŸ„°.”

“Rocky is one đŸ„čđŸ„čđŸ„č how fast time flies,” someone else pointed out.

Meanwhile, a different follower declared, “The 5th photo of baby Rocky holding your handsđŸ„ș❀ so dang precious.”

However, some were not impressed by Kourtney and Travis’ PDA.

The second photo in Kourtney’s carousel definitely raised some eyebrows. It showed Travis holding her in an embrace as she had her legs wrapped around him and they were passionately kissing.

In the comments, one Instagram user urged: “Get a room, NO ONE WANTS TO SEE THAT! It [reeks] of insecurity!”

Someone else wrote: “Yay, we all wanted to see y’all groveling. Almost 50 year olds acting like teens and embarrassing your kids.”

Yet another critic commented, “The PDA is so gross
.đŸ€ą.”

Still, others wondered if they would ever see Rocky’s face.

The snap of Rocky showed the toddler walking on a beach while holding his parents’ hands — but it was taken from above, only revealing the top of his yet. Since her youngest son was born, Kourtney has avoided showing his face on social media. Fans have seemingly grown tired of this.

One follower kindly asked, “When can we see sweet Rocky? 😍.”

However, a more irritated Instagram user demanded to know: “Why do you continue to hide your sons ?? We have seen ALL your kids why is this one different 🙄.”

To that, a different fan pointed out, “She doesn’t owe anyone an explanation
”

Kourtney recently explained her decision not to post pictures of her youngest son.

During the season six premiere of Hulu’s The Kardashians, Kourtney offered insight into why she doesn’t show Rocky’s face on social media.

“Rocky hasn’t been seen and in California, there’s a law that if I don’t show the baby’s face, the paparazzi have to blur his image,” she explained, per TV Shows Ace. “But in Australia, there are supposedly no paparazzi laws, so they can take a photo and sell their image.”

So far, only one paparazzi picture of Rocky has leaked.
