Season six of The Kardashians premiered on Hulu on February 6. In one scene, Kim discussed North’s career with Kris and her sister, KhloĂ© Kardashian.
“I thought I was busy before. North, me having to be her momager right now is crazy,” she admitted. “Itâs just, it was not on my list. It was not on my Bingo card for this year.”
Unsurprisingly, Kris could empathize.
In response to Kim’s remark about managing North, Kris replied, “Itâs a lot of work. Itâs a lot of energy.â
âAnd Iâm not ready,â Kim confessed.
To that, KhloĂ© added, âYouâre like, ‘I have my own s— to manage.'”
Kim then put it into perspective, explaining, “If she has a shoot, I have to be there all day, so itâs like her or me.”
Kim also admitted she was ‘conflicted’ about North’s career.
In a confessional with producers, Kim shared that she has finds it difficult to know when to take advantage of more career opportunities for North, 11, versus letting her be a kid.
âIâm really conflicted on my daughterâs career, so weâre going to talk about that soon,” she said to the camera. “I just really want to make sure that everythingâs really well balanced. All of the work experiences are balanced out with just enough fun life experiences. I just want balance.â
To be fair, her daughter has been pretty busy over the past year.
Over the past year, North has kept busy with her blossoming career. In May 2024, she was featured as Young Simba during The Lion King‘s 30th-anniversary concert in Los Angeles. She also joined her dad for his track “Talking / Once Again” that February. And in January 2025, North was featured on FKA Twigs‘ song “Childlike Things.”
Kim’s schedule alone is hectic. How does she do it all?
Kim’s scheduleârunning Skims, starring in a new scripted lawyer drama All’s Fair, starring in and executive producing The Kardashians, and countless other projectsâwould be overwhelming for most. Add in four kids, and her productivity is truly a wonder.
Impressively, Kim prioritizes dropping off her kids at school each morning despite how busy she is.
“That’s just in my contracts, like no matter what I do, no matter work, like I have to take my kids to school,” she said during a January interview on the Worldâs First Podcast. “That’s just my time with them. It’s the morning madness.”
