Christina Aguilera seems to be in such a good place in her life right now. There is so much going on that it is hard to keep track. Let's see, she's in love with her financé Matt Rutler; she is super pregnant with a baby that will be her first baby with Rutler, which means her son Max is about to become a big brother; she's working on a new album; she will be back on The Voice for season 8 and she's posing naked in all her pregnant glory.
Yay, naked pregnant Xtina!!! Gotta love it. Gotta see it! Go on and look, she looks STUNNING!!!

Gorgeous, right? Clearly, pregnancy is agreeing with Aguilera and she decided to collaborate with photographer Brian Bowen Smith in a series of beautiful pictures for VMagazine.com. Why would Aguilera, who is do darned busy, take the time to strip for photos? She says, "As a woman, I'm proud to embrace my body through all stages of life, staying fearless and confident in surrendering to the unknowns the future has in store." Pure awesomeness as far as I'm concerned.
This isn't the first time a pregnant celebrity poses in the nude. I do believe we have Demi Moore to thank for starting the trend. This isn't even the first time that Aguilera herself has flashed some pregnant skin. In 2008, she posed in the buff while pregnant with Max for the cover of Marie Claire.
And yes, she looks wonderful in both pictures, but I have to say I vastly prefer the new photo. On the cover of Marie Claire, Christina looks lovely, but there is something going on with her eyes that does not convince me that she is all there in the moment. Whereas, the picture taken by Brian Bowen Smith is straight up art. You can check out the rest of the photos taken by Smith at V Magazine.
