And, while her dress was very simple, Meghan looked like out of a fairy tale.

For her big day, the new Duchess of Sussex wore a dressed by British designer Clare Waight Keller, creative director at Givenchy. "Ms. Markle also wanted to highlight the success of a leading British talent who has now served as the creative head of three globally influential fashion houses – Pringle of Scotland, Chloé, and now Givenchy," read a statement from Kensington palace about the designer.
Her look was minimalist yet very elegant. Here are all the details of her look, from her dress and tiara to the jewelry, shoes, hairstyle and even her makeup.
Prince Harry's wife looked stunning.
Although some fashion insiders had predicted that she would wear a dress by Ralph & Russo —the British label she chose for her official engagement photos— or a design by her dear friend Roland Mouret, at the end, Meghan selected British designer Clare Waight Keller to make her dress.
"Ms. Meghan Markle’s wedding dress has been designed by the
acclaimed British designer, Clare Waight Keller. Ms. Waight Keller last year
became the first female Artistic Director at the historic French fashion house Givenchy," reads a statement from Kesington Palace.
Her dramatic veil was a nod to the Queen and the Commonwealth of Nations.
The veil was "five meters long and made from silk tulle with a trim of hand-embroidered flowers in silk threads and organza," reads a statement from Kensington Palace.
This piece was very symbolic. "Ms. Markle expressed the wish of having all 53 countries of the Commonwealth with her on her journey through the ceremony. Ms. Waight Keller designed a veil representing the distinctive flora of each Commonwealth country united in one spectacular floral composition."
She looked amazing as she walked down the aisle.
Although her dress was very simple, she looked so beautiful and elegant.
She wore Queen Mary’s diamond bandeau tiara.
Although many people thought she would wear princess Diana's Spencer tiara, in honor of her husband's late mother, Meghan chose Queen Mary’s diamond bandeau tiara.
"The veil is held in place by Queen Mary’s diamond bandeau tiara, lent to Ms. Markle by The Queen. The diamond bandeau is English and was made in 1932, with the centre brooch dating from 1893," reads a statement from the Palace.
Although Queen Mary would mostly wear a sapphire brooch in the center, Meghan opted for a diamond one on her royal wedding day.
Here you can appreciate her dress even better.
It was a very simple gown, without any embroidery.
Meghan's dress featured a bateau neckline.
Her Givenchy dress featured a bateau neckline that allowed her to show off some shoulders.
"True to the heritage of the house, the pure lines of the dress are achieved using six meticulously placed seams. The focus of the dress is the graphic open bateau neckline that gracefully frames the shoulders and emphasises the slender sculpted waist. The lines of the dress extend towards the back where the train flows in soft round folds cushioned by an underskirt in triple silk organza. The slim three-quarter sleeves add a note of refined modernity."
The shoes were also by Givenchy.
"The wedding shoes are based on a Givenchy refined pointed couture design made of a silk duchess satin."
She wore very natural makeup.
She looked simply gorgeous and radiant on her big day. The former actress kept her makeup natural and very simple, with soft pink blush and lipstick, neutral shadows, black eyeliner and full lashes. Her makeup look was created by Daniel Martin, who is the creative consultant of Jessica Alba's Honest Beauty and a close friend of Meghan's.
The new princess wore her hair in a center-parted, low chignon.
Her hairstyle was created by celebrity hairstyle Serge Normant, a favorite of some Hollywood A-list stars, such as Julia Roberts.
She accessorized her gown with delicate diamond stud earrings.
To allow for her tiara to grab all the attention, Meghan wore a pair of delicate Cartier diamond stud earrings.
She wore a matching Cartier diamond bracelet on her right hand.
As you can see, Meghan opted for a very minimalist look and these Cartier jewels were the perfect compliment for her dress.
The new Duchess of Sussex showed off her wedding band.
Alongside her beautiful three-stone engagement ring, designed by Harry himself, the new Duchess of Sussex now wears a very simple wedding band made of Welsh gold, which was a gift by her husband's grandmother, the Queen.
