In 2015, an innocent baby was found stuffed in a black plastic bag with the umbilical cord and placenta still attached in the Philippines–and it was all caught on video. A woman managed to rescue the baby, who was miraculously still alive.

In September 2015, a North Carolina mother named Shelly Cawley was put to sleep before an emergency C-section was performed. She wasn't waking up so doctors put her newborn son Rylan on her chest. Miraculously, her vital signs spiked when he started crying.

In November 2014, Ruby Graupera-Cassimiro's heart stopped for 45 minutes while giving birth. She suffered a rare and potentially deadly complication while giving birth to her daughter via Cesarean section. Doctors tried to revive her for three hours, gave up, but she finally awoke.
