Apple cider vinegar

This vinegar works wonders to cure dandruff and itchy scalp. Simply mix one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar with two tablespoons of water and rub it on your scalp. Leave it for ten minutes and shower with shampoo. Repeat once a week and you'll see the results.

Tea tree oil

This oil has natural antibacterial and antiseptic properties that work wonders to eliminate the fungus that creates dandruff. It also has healing properties that help moisturize an itchy scaly scalp. Mix couple drops of tea tree oil in water and massage it on your scalp. Leave it for two minutes and rinse. You can also add some drops to your shampoo.

Olive oil

Full of antioxidants and vitamins A and E, olive oil is great to bring life to a scaly and dry scalp. Using a cotton ball, massage a tablespoon of olive oil directly on the scalp and leave it overnight. Make sure to sleep with a shower cap on so you won’t damage your pillowcase. Repeat for a week to eliminate the problem.

Baking soda

You know that baking soda is good for many things because it’s a natural antiseptic and cleanser. Wash your hair with baking to eliminate dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis and psoriasis. Put dry baking soda on your scalp and rub it in. Leave it for an hour and repeat once a week.

Lemon juice

Fresh lemon juice and honey is all you need to make your scalp healthy. Mix the juice of one lemon or two depending on the problem, with one tablespoon of honey. Massage the solution on your scalp and leave it on for a few minutes. Rinse with warm water and shampoo and repeat twice a week.

Coconut oil

Coconut oil is also wonderful to cure a scaly scalp and the best thing about it is that smells really good. It's also great for your hair so, use it as many times a week as you like. Put straight up coconut oil or your scalp and hair, massage for few minutes and leave it overnight. You’ll see the difference in your hair right away and on your scalp in a few weeks.

Mayonaisse

Some people swear on this home remedy but honestly I don’t want to try it because of the smell of mayo. Mayonnaise is good for the hair because it contains eggs and vinegar. It will nourish and eliminate the fungi and bacteria that creates a dry scalp. If you can handle it, apply directly on the scalp, cover with plastic wrap and leave it on for twenty minutes. Rinse with warm water.

Ginger

Ginger works like tea tree oil and it's a natural cleanser. Boil ginger root on water and use the cool liquid to make a hair mask with Greek yogurt. These ingredients will help restore the PH of your scalp. Leave the mask on for fifteen minutes and rinse with warm water. Repeat once a week.

Aloe vera

Aloe vera is great for the hair and it's the base of countless masks and hair products. Aloe vera juice is ideal to eliminate scalp problems. Simply apply directly on the scalp and leave it overnight. Repeat twice a week and you'll see the dramatic difference and no more flakes!

Fenugreek

Rich in amino acids, fenugreek works wonders to eliminate serious scalp problems. Soak the seeds overnight and grind them the next day. Apply the paste directly on the scalp, massage and leave it for forty five minutes. Rinse with warm water. You'll see the difference in couple of weeks.
