Dad films daughter’s birth while he’s DRIVING & it’s amazing!

Oh my GAWD! I can honestly say that this is the first time in my life that I have watched a birthing video and cried and clapped at the same time. Corey Griffith of Jackson, Mississippi was doing his best to get his fiancée Diamond Jones to the hospital at around 5 a.m. on September 8 so she could give birth to their little girl, but time was not on their side, that little girl was born in the car! And somehow, even though he was driving, Corey Griffith was able to capture the amazing moments on video that will make you smile from ear to ear.

Yes, we all know you aren't supposed to be using a phone or videotaping while driving, but you also aren't supposed to be having a baby in a car, so I think that Griffith gets a pass on the phone usage. He had been planning to videotape the birth all along, he just never expected it to happen in the car while he was driving.

To begin with, the little girl is gorgeous and seeing her there with her mommy is the kind of stuff that makes your heart grow a size or two, but then listening to Griffith who is so clearly full of love will make your heart BURST. The words that come out of his mouth leave no doubt that he is going to be a great father. He's already so loving and encouraging.

As Jones is holding the newborn, he says, "Rub her baby. Let her know you love her." That right there makes me fall in love with him. There is also an incredibly sweet moment where the baby starts rooting and looking for a breast to nurse on and Griffith says, "She's already trying to nurse. Look at her. She's ready." He sounds like the proudest man on earth when he says it too.

Before you check out the video, I have to give a shout out to Diamond Jones. She had a baby in the car and she handled it like a CHAMP!

Now, press play and meet Corri Lynn Griffith, named after her daddy, born weighing 7 pounds, 6 ounces and measuring 20 inches! Welcome to the world little girl!
