Multigrain carrot-coconut muffins are a homerun with the family (VIDEO)

There's nothing like a good old-fashioned game of baseball to bring the family together! Eight year-old Daniel Garcia loves to play baseball and his dad and mom, Taiana, love that he loves it. Daniel's dad taught him to play when he about 2 years old and he's been swinging the bat ever since.

Every Saturday the whole extended family comes to watch young Daniel play. All the cousins and aunts and uncles come to cheer him on. Daniel learned at an early age that it's not about winning or losing and that family plays a big part in the game. While some families only get together on major holidays, Daniel's is together almost every weekend. It's not about big fancy dinners, but about focusing on the family, making memories and being there for each other.

Baseball takes work, practice and discipline. It's not easy, but it's fun. Especially when, at the end of the game, there's a really delicious snack waiting. None of the cousins will eat carrot sticks, which are a good, healthy treat. But when we can sneak them inside some Multigrain Carrot-Coconut Muffins with a Frosted Flakes streusel topping – they're not only enjoying their carrots, but asking for seconds!

Check out this video and see how easy it is to bake nutritious goodies into sweet treats for after a good hard-fought game!
