____A 23-year-old woman from Houston dramatically changed her lifestyle after being bullied for years about her weight. Keli Kryfko weighed around 230 pounds when she was in the eighth grade and was constantly tormented by classmates especially after miserably failing a fitness test in gym class that revealed she could barely do push-ups. But instead of feeling sorry for herself, Kryfko realized it was time for a change. She dropped 100 pounds and not only does she look hot, but she's also preparing for the Miss Texas beauty competition in July. You have to see how this girl looks now!

Kryfko, who is now the Miss South Texas pageant queen, has dreams of one day becoming Miss America. And honestly, if she keeps up what she's doing she might have a good chance. Now weighing just 129 pounds, Kryfko is slim, toned and healthy-looking. The crazy thing is she didn't undergo surgery or follow any drastic diets to get that way either. She claims all she did was use her bully's taunts to motivate her to make a few small changes in her diet and lifestyle.
First she stopped drinking soda then she cut out fatty/fried foods and made sure to only serve herself healthy portions. And eventually she added exercise into the mix. "It was small, incremental changes," she told CBSFW News. "That's the important thing–not fighting it." The 23-year-old managed to lose the weight within a year and a half and maintains it with healthy eating and daily exercise. "It's an ongoing transformation," she said. "I'm still trying to get that six pack."
After losing all the weight, Kryfko decided to participate in beauty pageants. Who knew this girl who once weighed 230 pounds would become a beauty queen? She's won Miss Allen, Miss Limestone County and Miss South Texas so far. Now she's preparing for the Miss Texas competition which begins the first week of July and has hopes of one day competing in Miss America. The girl does 30 minutes of cardio daily followed by weight training and she does this even when she's not prepping for a pageant.
I am so inspired by this young woman's weight-loss journey and how she used her bullies as motivation to get herself in shape. Instead of feeling sorry for herself she made changes and most importantly now she has the confidence to rule the world. How amazing is that?
