In the gorgeous online publication, Denise Cortes of Pearmama, Ericka Sanchez of Nibbles & Feasts, Kathy Cano-Murillo of Crafty Chica, Leslie Limon of La Cocina de Leslie, Maura Wall Hernandez of The Other Side of the Tortilla, Nicole Presley of Presley's Pantry, and Vianney Rodriguez of Sweet Life share some of their favorite recipes and crafts for Día de los Muertos.
The crafts and recipes with gorgeous accompanying photography will inspire you. Even if you have never celebrated Day of the Dead, I encourage you to enjoy this free e-book and share it with your family. To begin with, they will probably beg you to make some of the recipes because they look AH-mazing. Then your kids will want to make the crafts in the book. It's a great way to talk about Day of the Dead with your family and celebrate all of your loved ones who have passed to the other side.
I love that el Día de los Muertos gives me an opportunity to share stories of my dearly departed with my children. That I can speak about death with them in a way that isn't sad and somber.
Do yourself a favor and look through this e-book–and the next time someone tells you that nothing in life is free, you will know how wrong they are!
