Not drinking enough wate__r:__ Drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day will not only keep you hydrated but help fight against blemishes and aging. So make sure to always have a water bottle on hand.

Using dirty makeup brushes: Keeping your makeup brushes dirty is a skin disaster waiting to happen. Yoou should wash your brushes once every two weeks to keep skin clean and healthy. I like to wash mine on Sunday afternoons using a makeup brush cleanser (like this one we love from Target), but you can also use a gentle shampoo. Make sure to rinse them well and let them dry overnight in a cup standing up.

Falling asleep in your makeup: Snoozing while wearing all that makeup is probably one of the WORST things you can do to your skin! Makeup can lead to everything from bacterial infections to acne. The oil from your face and the dirt from your makeup combined clogs pores. The few times I've done it, I've almost always woken up to a pimple on my face. Always wash your face every night before bed, but if you're too tired to get to the bathroom sink, keep a pack of makeup removing wipes by your nightstand.

Not seeing a derm: Most people I know don't even go to their dermatologist unless they come across a skin problem. But it's super important to pay your derm a visit at least once a year, especially to have your skin evaluated for skin cancer. Skin cancer has become the most common form of cancer in the United States and according to the Skin Cancer Foundation, one out of five Americans will be diagnosed with skin cancer in a lifetime. Your dermatologist can also evaluate your skin for other conditions or abnormalities, and provide you with professional tips for getting your skin in its best shape!

Not changing your pillow case: If you suffer from acne, chances are your pillow might have something to do with it. While you're sleeping your skin sheds dead skin cells that land on your pillow along with your natural oils. Over time, the two can build up, aiding in bacterial growth on your pillow case. Change your pillowcase at least every two weeks to help keep skin healthy.

Which of these are you guilty of? How do you plan to rehabilitate your skin sinning ways?
