6 Latino celebs gone too soon in 2016

Some people say that the brightest stars burn faster and maybe that's why so many talented people leave us so early. This certanly seems to be the case of the Latino stars that have died in 2016, well before it was their time. Here they are. Rest in peace.

José Fernández was only 24 and months away from becoming a dad.

Sadly, he died on September 25, 2016 when the boat he was traveling in with two friends crashed in Miami Beach.

Juan Gabriel was 66 and on tour.

The Mexican icon passed away in August 2016, two days after singing in front of 18,000 people in Los Angeles. He was in the home he had rented in Santa Monica.

Fabiane Niclotti had been suffering from depression.

She had attempted suicide once before. Unfortunately, Miss Brazil 2004 was discovered dead by a family member in June 2016. She was only 31.

Emilio Navaira defied death twice in 2008.

The 53-year-old suffered two serious car accidents then, but it was in May of 2016 when his time to leave us came. He achieving big success as a singer of tejano music.

A brutal death was in the cards for Adán Aguilar.

The TV Azteca actor was stabbed during an alleged robbery in México and passed away because of his wounds.

TV Azteca's Cristian Landon was only 21 and suffering from depression.

The young Uruguayan TV host threw himself from the 9th floor of a builing in Mexico City in May of 2016.
