Kylie Jenner has started a brand-new workout routine to get ready for summer 2021. The 23-year-old mom, entrepreneur, and reality TV star has been slow to embrace the fitness life over the years, but reportedly in 2021 she has big goals for keeping her famous figure in shape. In a recent episode of the final season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kylie is seen confessing to rapper Cardi B that she gained weight during quarantine.

"I've gained a little quarantine weight so I'm happy," the 23-year-old said. Kylie is, of course, working out in her home gym with a personal trainer who comes at least three times a week to help Kylie get fit. "Kylie is determined now more than ever to get toned for summer," a source told E! News. "She's fully into fitness and health. She wants to maintain her figure and stay toned for summer." Consistency is key.
According to the E! News source, the main thing for Kylie is consistency. She's committed to working out a minimum of three times a week. She recently posted a video of her workout on Instagram with the caption, "never miss a Monday."
She likes to work out outside.
Kylie apparently likes to work out outdoors whenever possible. "She prefers doing outdoor workouts because it's more distracting and feels nice to be in nature," the source said about how Kylie stays focused during workouts.
She doesn't restrict.
Kylie, who is famously a fan of junk food, has reportedly been watching what she eats at home without restricting. She balances her eating habits with plenty of physical activity, like taking walks with her 3-year-old, Stormi. "Kylie has been watching what she eats at home but isn't restricting herself. When she goes out with friends, she eats what she wants. She has been super motivated recently and is loving the endorphins."
Cardio is important to Kylie.
Kylie gets in a lot of cardio. She completes treadmill workouts at home on a regular basis. In fact, about six weeks ago, she created an Instagram highlight featuring some of her treadmill sessions, and in one she says she does 30 minutes per day.
She uses a lot of exercise machines.
Kylie's home gym is expectedly massive and outfitted with some of the best workout equipment imaginable. She uses a lot of different exercise machines in her fitness routines, which focus mainly on her legs and core.
Waist trainers are a regular thing.
The Kardashian-Jenner sisters are well known for their use of waist trainers. In fact, they definitely played a part in the modern popularization of fajas. Kylie still wears them during her workouts.
She uses resistance bands.
Kylie Jenner also uses resistance bands as a part of her workout routine. They are very commonly used in butt and thigh workouts. In fact, many people refer to them as booty bands, so it's no surprise Kylie is a fan.
So far, she seems happy with her results.
Being so young, Kylie likely didn't need to work out much to maintain her famous body, but it seems as she's getting older, she understands the importance of exercise. She seems super pleased with her results so far.
