Less than two weeks ago, reports had surfaced that first their engagement had been called off and then that they had broken up altogether. The couple swiftly put those rumors to rest while admitting that they are working through some issues, and it seems the media attention might have been just what they needed to help them get back on track.

Alex has now visited Jen in the Dominican Republic twice in the past week, and the pair seem to be enjoying their time together between Jennifer's filming obligations for the upcoming film Shotgun Wedding while Alex is keeping himself busy enjoying his surroundings on the island and getting in some time on the green for a few rounds of golf. Here's what we know so far about what they've been up to in the DR while they work on their relationship.
Alex has visited two weekends in a row.
Since the breakup rumors began, A-Rod has flown from Miami to the Dominican Republic to spend time with J.Lo two weekends in a row. Presumably, he's been returning to Miami for work during the week.
J.Lo should be done filming soon.
According to Jen's friend and colleague Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, who is serving as a producer on Shotgun Wedding, they'll be done filming in four weeks. Some of the cast has already wrapped up and headed back home, so J.Lo should be finishing up in about a month.
She's spending her free time with Alex.
When Jen is not busy working on the film, she's devoting her time to reconnecting with Alex. The two have been spotted cozying up together on multiple occasions and seem just as lovey dovey as ever.
Alex is making the most of his time in the DR.
During his recent visits to the Dominican Republic, Alex has been making the most of his time there. When he's not with Jennifer he's been spending a lot of time on the golf course, which has been one of his favorite pastimes since retiring from professional baseball.
They are staying at a luxury resort.
Although J.Lo hasn't posted many personal pictures lately, Alex has been sharing a bit on social media, including pictures of the view from their suite and around the resort they are staying in. Their digs are super-luxurious. They are apparently staying at the Casa de Campo resort in La Romana.
They're maintaining their privacy.
Neither Jen or Alex have posted anything to social media with each other. Although they've both remained somewhat active on social media, they've kept what's going on in their relationship private by not posting any pictures or videos from their time together in the Dominican Republic.
