Just like her famous mamá Jenni Rivera, there have been quite a few men that have had an impact on entertainer Chiquis Rivera's life. From her father and brothers to her ex-husband Lorenzo Méndez, it's obvious that while Chiquis has spent her life surrounded by strong women, the men in her life matter, too.

Now in her 30s and once again single, Chiquis is evidently living her best life, and while we're sure there's more romance in her future, for now at least she seems content. Still, her relationships with these men likely helped get her there. See who they here.
There was quite a scandal with Mr. Tempo.
Not long before Chiquis announced that she and her husband Lorenzo Méndez were separating, video surfaced of her sharing a kiss with businessman Jorge "Mr. Tempo" Cueva, with whom she was working on a business venture. Despite rumors that indicated otherwise, the pair denied that they were involved with each other and Chiquis claimed they were just "getting to know" each other.
Chiquis' marriage was short-lived.
Chiquis and her ex-husband Lorenzo Méndez were together on and off for a few years before they got engaged in 2018. They finally got married in June 2019, but just over a year later they called it quits for good. Rumors had been rampant for months about the state of their marriage, and eventually Chiquis and Lorenzo decided to take ownership of the story and admit on social media that they were divorcing.
She may have been seeing singer El Fantasmo before her divorce.
The same month that Chiquis announced her divorce, rumors swirled that she was having a fling with fellow singer El Fantasmo. Both of the musicians denied the rumors, with El Fantasmo asserting that he is still happily married to his wife Perla, whom he married in 2007.
Before Lorenzo there was Ángel.
Before Chiquis hooked up with her now ex-husband Lorenzo, she famously dated record label executive Ángel del Villar. As with Lorenzo, their relationship was somewhat of an on-again/off-again thing that lasted for a couple of years. There were rumors that he was married at the time, but that was unsubstantiated.
She's close with her brother Michael.
Chiquis is close with her brother Michael who is five years her junior, and Jenni Rivera's eldest son. He's been through quite a bit since their mother died, and Chiquis has remained by his side. These days they seem to spend plenty of time together.
And she adores her baby brother, too.
"I'm VERY proud of the young man you're becoming," Chiquis said about her youngest brother, Juan Angel "Johnny" Lopez, on his 20th birthday. "I know you will do great things. You've always been different, and do things unorthodoxly, but that's what I love most about you… you've never been a follower."
Her grandfather means a lot to Chiquis and the family.
Jenni Rivera's father and Chiquis grandfather, Pedro Rivera, is a major figure in their family and many of his children and grandchildren's careers, including Chiquis'. They are still close and he posts about her accomplishments frequently on social media.
Her uncle Pedro was important to her mother.
Chiquis' uncle, Pedro Jr., who was incredibly close to her mother while she was still alive, was obviously influential in her life. He is a man of faith who has remained loyal to his famous family throughout the years.
Chiquis' Uncle Gustavo was around a lot when she was younger.
Chiquis' uncle Gustavo was just a few years older than her mother Jenni and they collaborated on their music frequently. It goes without saying that he was around a lot during Chiquis' childhood.
Her uncle Lupillo was apparently hard to get along with.
Although they apparently reconciled before Jenni's death, the banda superstar and her brother Lupillo quite famously feuded often. That very likely affected Chiquis' relationship with her tio in one way or another.
Chiquis' tio Juan is a family man.
Chiquis' uncle Juan was her mother's youngest brother, and possibly the one she was closest to. These days he prioritizes spending tons of time with his own children, but that relationship between Juan and Jenni presumably left a positive impact on Chiquis and her siblings.
Her relationship with her father was traumatic.
Chiquis' father, Trinidad Marín, is currently serving a 31-year prison sentence for sexual assault and rape against Chiquis' sister, Jacqie, and her aunt Rosie. Chiquis herself has accused her father of molesting her as well, and has confessed that she does not keep in touch with his side of the family.
There was a salacious rumor involving her mother's husband.
When Chiquis' mother filed divorce from her husband Esteban Loaiza, who is currently in prison on drug-related charges, rumors swirled that Esteban had had an affair with Chiquis, prompting the divorce.
Chiquis denies it.
Apparently there was some home security video footage that made Jenni suspicious, but Chiquis has denied all the rumors and has since confessed that the issue caused a major rift between her and her mother at the time.
She's not romantically involved right now.
Needless to say, Chiquis' romantic life has been a bit scandalous despite having some strong male figures in her life, so it's not particularly surprising that she's taking some time to just be single right now, albeit a little uncharacteristic. For now, she's unattached, but we'll definitely update you if that changes.
