It's a girl! America Ferrera had so much to celebrate this Mother's Day. The Superstore star announced the arrival of her second child on Sunday, May 10, to celebrate the mom holiday. The actress and husband Ryan Piers Williams revealed that they welcomed their second baby, a daughter, on May 4, but waited for the holiday to share the good news.

The couple, who already share a son together, have been careful about sharing photos of their family, and their little girl is no different. They shared only a snap of their baby's tiny hand on Instagram, along with a sweet message. "The most exquisite little creature graced us with her presence on May 4, 2020," Ryan captioned his Instagram post. "Please meet the newest member of our family, Lucia Marisol Williams. She came just in time for Mother’s Day. Everyone is healthy and happy!"
America's birth announcement was perfect.

The tail end of America's pregnancy happened during a unique time.
The world is facing a pandemic, and America, like so many pregnant mamás around the globe, had a lot to process. She shared a stunning photo of her growing belly, as well as an update of how she was dealing with her pregnancy in this time. "As this baby grows inside and I attempt to breathe through the fears and unknowns of this time, I am thinking of all you other mamas bringing new life into this world right now," she captioned the Instagram post in April. "And also of all the women across generations and centuries and borders who have and are currently birthing new life in the midst of so many extraordinary and daunting circumstances. The couple, who tied the knot in 2011, welcomed their first child, Sebastian Piers Williams, in May 2018. This year has brought so many surprises and changes, and now the addition of Lucia is sure to bring even more adventures. Ryan shared this photo of them with a moving van in April and captioned it: "Pregnant, with a two year old, and a dog that broke her toe yesterday…oh and did I forget to mention we’re moving. Somehow we’re keeping the smiles alive through this quarantined life."
The couple announced they were expecting on New Year's Eve.
