Jennifer Lopez may be getting decorating tips from Joanna Gaines & this is epic

OK, so we shared with you that Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez bought themselves a cozy beach house in Malibu, California, that used to belong to actor Jeremy Piven. Honestly, the place is already gorgeous, but apparently not really up to J.Lo and A-Rod standards–and it's starting to look a lot like Joanna and Chip Gaines, the stars of HGTV's Fixer Upper, might have a hand in helping Jennifer and Alex fix up what's already a gorgeous mansion.

Recently Jennifer was on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and revealed that she's a HUGE Joanna Gaines fan and that she had mentioned to Alex that she would love to have Joanna help redo their new place, but she wasn't even sure that Alex was listening. But Alex was listening! And he didn't just listen, he did something about it. He hooked it up!

Jennifer told Ellen that Alex surprised her with a FaceTime call with Joanna.

It turns out that for their two-year anniversary, Alex surprised Jennifer with a FaceTime call with Joanna. J.Lo turned into a total fangirl and was asking Joanna for any tips or help she could get for the new place.

It's not confirmed that Joanna will be helping out, but it's looking pretty hopeful.

On Monday, camera crews were spotted alongside Jennifer and a baby-holding Joanna as they looked at the exterior of the Malibu home. This collaboration needs to happen!

At $6.6 million, most people wouldn't consider this three-story Malibu mansion a fixer upper 'cause it looks pretty move-in ready, but most people are not Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez.

We're thinking that if Joanna helps, there will definitely be a shiplap wall somewhere.

Joanna Gaines is known for popularizing the use of shiplap in home interiors. Shiplap is a type of wooden board that has traditionally been used to build sheds, barns, and other rustic buildings. Honestly, it would be a crime against fandom if Jen didn't add some kind of shiplap inside the home as a tribute to Joanna. It would be like having J.Lo come and sing at your party, but asking her not to sing any of her own songs.

Jennifer mentioned that she likes pillows and, oh, Jo's got pillows.

Whatever Joanna and J.Lo decide to do with the Malibu home, we can't wait to see it! Please, let this collaboration happen quickly and the three-hour special Fixer Upper (here's to hoping) get done ASAP!
