Eva Longoria is ready to say bye-bye to her post-baby weight. The actress revealed that she has been taking it easy and being kind to her body after giving birth to her first child, Santiago, in June. The actress headed right back to work after her son's arrival, so we imagine that taking care of a newborn while still working on her career took over most of her time.

Now that the baby boy is already five months old, the former Desperate Housewives star has her mind set on getting her pre-baby figure back. The new mom opened up about what she has planned to whip her body into shape, and it sounds like it's going to be intense.
Eva is heading back to the gym after letting her body recuperate on its own after carrying and delivering her child.
“I really gave my body time to adjust to postpartum and post-pregnancy,” the actress said to Us Weekly at the Teen Vogue Summit on Saturday, December 1. “You know, it had a baby! It created a human life, so I really wasn’t too hard about getting back into shape.”
The new mom is now being more conscious about her health and getting back to her fitness routine.
The Overboard actress, who gave birth on June 19, is also slowly starting to be more mindful about what she eats. “Now I’m working out a lot more and watching what I eat," she said. "I’m barely starting to get back into it.”
The actress has been flexing her director muscle since becoming a mom.
She's been hard at work behind the screen, directing movies and TV shows and even though she "still loves yoga," she has been pumping some iron at the gym. “My workouts now are more weight training,” she told the publication. “Very serious weight training.” Props to her!
Seeing her in her new role has been so adorable.
Eva has been sharing so many photos of her little Santi, and we don't blame her–he's adorable! It's good to see that she didn't feel the pressure to hit the gym right after her baby was born, and instead chose to take it easy on herself and enjoy her time with her boy.
We can't wait to see the results of Eva's fitness training.
Now that she has this mommy thing under control, she can now turn that attention back to herself and take care of her body. It's always good to remember that while our kids are the center of our worlds, they need us to be healthy as well.
