Ana Patricia Gámez is keeping it real about her post-baby body. The Despierta America host shared an Instagram photo of herself on Tuesday, October 23, just 15 weeks after giving birth to her adorable son.

In the snap, the mom of two is wearing workout pants and a sports bra and her belly is fully exposed. While she's been back on the morning show, looking gorgeous and better than ever, the TV personality shared in the post's caption that it's all thanks to wearing a faja and she hasn't actually lost any of her pregnancy weight.
Ana said she felt a responsibility to be honest with herself and other moms who were asking for advice on how to lose the baby weight.
"Today it's been 15 weeks of postpartum, this little belly is still with me that I sometimes hide under a faja," she captioned the post. "So many ladies ask me how I lost weight or how I'm losing weight but I personally don't feel like I'm in any condition to give them a response that they want to read because I haven't taken action and I also haven't lost the weight I gained with the pregnancy, which I enjoyed to the max and I didn't worry about getting fat. I never deprived myself from cravings all the time and I didn't mortify myself with working out."
The TV host started working soon after giving birth, and now she said she will be focusing on taking care of herself.
"Thank God I have a healthy baby and I feed him solely through breastfeeding. Yesterday I began a process of postpartum transformation of which I will make all of you a part of," she continued in the post's caption. "I know that there are so many moms out there that like me need a guide and motivation because often times we don't feel comfortable in our own skin, and just as we take care of the most beautiful part of our lives, our kids, we should care for ourselves from the inside out."
She welcomed her son, Gael, in July and he's the cutest!
Although pregnancy and labor can have a toll on your body, Ana Patricia looks amazing after just 15 weeks of giving birth. There's nothing more beautiful than being able to hold and care for your baby at the end of that journey, but it's also super rewarding to start taking care of yourself so that you can go back to your pre-baby self.
This isn't the first time she keeps it real about her postpartum body, though!
She welcomed her daughter, Giulietta, in 2015, and one day she talked about how much her body had changed and removed her faja while she was live on Despierta America! Good for her! There's no need to feel rushed or pressured to lose weight and it's important to allow our bodies to fully heal before we focus on the external.
