Fans are used to seeing Chiquis Rivera in full glam. The entertainer loves wearing a lot makeup and looks good in it. But she isn't afraid to let her skin breathe and post selfies of herself on those casual days.

Chiquis shared one of those no makeup moments with her Instagram followers over the weekend, and sadly the reaction was so disappointing. Her haters came out in full force and left nasty comments that made no sense.
Chiquis is no stranger to sharing no makeup selfies on Instagram.
It's a positive message to send to her fans who see her wearing makeup all of the time.
But for some reason this photo she shared on Sunday became a punching bag.
“I woke up like this…” she captioned the photo.
She looked flawless and radiant but that didn't stop the horrible hate train that arrived in her comments.
The criticism was completely uncalled for and disrespectful.
It was particularly gross to see people egg each other on some of the worse comments.
That Donald Trump comparison did not deserve all of this attention.
Sadly, Chiquis is probably used to this level of ignorance.
Whether she is wearing makeup or not, her comments are usually in shambles. But the negativity undoubtedly comes from people who would never say the terrible things they write to her face.
But Chiquis did not have to say a word because her real fans showed love and came to her defense.
One fan said it best. "I find it so disturbing that people feel they can take it upon themselves to write atrocious comments simply because they feel [they] can do so because they're sitting behind a screen or from their phones."
To have people stick up for her that don't even know her personally must give Chiquis strength.
Her mission to empower fans must be getting through to them and is more than enough reason to keep going, no matter what haters say.
