Kim Kardashian might be living a lavish life, but when it comes to family and being a mom, she's just like the rest of us. I'm pretty sure she's had to deal with sleepless nights, diaper duty and everything else that comes with parenting. She's also made it a point to always put her family life first. Kim recently hosted an amazing family BBQ, and apparently, the girl actually cooked!

Kim goes all out at family gathering.
Kim hosted a huge family cookout for 4th of July weekend, serving everything from collard greens, ribs, macaroni and cheese, fried chicken and plátanos. I even peeped a pot of moro de habichuelas rojas. I swore there was a celebrity chef there but according to People.com, Kim cooked (and apparently cooks a lot) for family and friends. Go, Kim!
Kim has to deal with North's messy ways.
Most toddlers are amazing at making messes! It comes with the parenting territory and the reality star knows it all too well. The caption to this photo was, "It's gonna be a long night…" Don't we know it!
Breastfeeding made her delirious.
Kim took a while to adjust to being the moder of two. Breastfeeding her son Saint came with its fair amount of challenges, too. "This 4 am feeding really kills me. I'm like delirious," she tweeted. We've all been there.

Back in October 2015, Kim made a huge rookie mistake of failing to use the tether strap on North's car seat. But she kept it real and we've all been there!
She deals with toddler meltdowns.
Kim knows that dealing with a grumpy toddler takes a lot of patience and creativity. "The struggle is real! We cannot go outside the house like this! LOL," she wrote.
