When you think best red carpet fashion, the SAG Awards isn't typically the first award show that comes to mind. Fashion reigns at the Oscars or the Emmys. Here's a look at some of the best and worst dressed of the night!

Salma Hayek’s yellow dress was confusing.

The only thing flattering about this gown was the yellow shade that complemented Salma’s tan skin tone. The ruffles and the floral made what could have been a decent one-shoulder dress look like an awful quinceañera number.
Emma Stone looked stunning.

Last night was a good night for Emma Stone. She won best actress for her role in La La Land and she looked like a star in that Alexander McQueen gown that really complemented her slim figure.
Emily Blunt looked liked a golden goddess.

Nominated for The Girl on the Train, the actress showed up in a beaded Roberto Cavalli gown that literally turned heads.
Sofia Vergara’s dress left us very surprised.

We’re used to seeing The Modern Family actress in mermaid gowns but she showed up in a dress we would have never expected her to wear. The silver and black colorblocked dress by Zuhair Murad was a stressless A-line number. But something about the combination of textures just didn’t look right.
Taraji P. Henson was unstoppable.

Not only did she share an inspiring message of unity that left us all speechless after receiving an award for Hidden Figures, but she totally slayed in that Remme Acra gown.
Viola Davis’s gown was the wedding dress we all want.

She took home a SAG Award for her role in Fences and wore a stunning white, Vivienne Westwood gown that is literally the wedding dress of our dreams. The classic number accentuated her in all the right places.
Kate Hudson channeled her inner goth girl.

The actress totally worked that black mesh gown and dark lip. She looked so fierce!
Kerry Washington stunned as usual.

She hit the red carpet in a white beaded Roberto Cavalli Couture gown that was true perfection. But her accessory is what really turned heads. Kerry wore a safety pin on her left arm as her way of showing solidarity in response to Muslim Ban that took place this weekend.
Meryl Streep put a bird on it.

The beloved actress wore a white Valentino dress that had prints of small birds flying all over it and it was dreamy, pretty, and just plain wonderful.
Natalie Portman channeled her inner Jackie Kennedy.

She dressed her baby bump in an elegant cream-colored gown that would have made the former First Lady proud.
Nicole Kidman was very tropical.

She wore a green sequin green gown that featured parrot embellishments on the shoulder. We’re not sure what she was thinking.
