An innocent baby was found stuffed in a black plastic bag with the umbilical cord and placenta still attached–and it was all caught on video. A woman managed to rescue the baby, who was miraculously still alive. The location hasn't been confirmed, but reportedly this may have taken place in the Philippines.

Karla Perez suffered a stroke and was declared brain dead while expecting her unborn baby. The 22-year-old woman was in a coma and struggling for her life. Her family decided to keep her alive until she gave birth to her son. A team of more than 100 medical staff made sure that Perez's baby boy was delivered alive and healthy before his mom passed away.

In 2014, Adilynn Renee was born in North Carolina weighing less than one pound, and four months premature. She was so tiny that she was about the size of a cell phone. She was diagnosed with pneumonia twice and a blood infection.

Last year, Ruby Graupera-Cassimiro's heart stopped for 45 minutes while giving birth. She suffered a rare and potentially deadly complication while giving birth to her daughter via Cesarean section. Doctors tried to revive her for three hours, gave up, but she finally awoke.

Baby Silas was born premature at just 26 weeks in Cedars Sinai medical center in California. During his delivery via C-section, doctors uncovered that his amniotic sac didn't burst, which means he was born in his water bag. The case was extremely rare and potentially dangerous.
