We had to wait nearly six months to finally see a photo of Christina Aguilera's daughter Summer Rain! The Voice judge made her big reveal on the latest cover of People and, trust me, it was worth the wait. Summer is a natural with the camera and her big blue eyes are as gorgeous as her mom's! Even though the pop star has been super private about her family life with fiancé Matt Rutler, she opens up about parenting and experiencing "mom guilt." Christina and Summer's cover shot is adorable! The baby's adorable in a pink hate and big bright eyes just melted my heart. She looks like a natural born star! She could also pass as a Gerber baby, can't she? I'm sure her 7-year-old big brother Max is also excited to have such a cute little sister to eventually boss around!
In the issue, XTina opens up about motherhood and said:
It's definitely not easy juggling work and motherhood, as being a parent is a full-time job within itself. You just have to make it work for you. My life has so many different moving parts, but my kids are the center focal piece, and everything else shifts around them.
I'm sure every mom has a lot of moving parts in her life! That's the beauty and the terror of it all. Well, that and mom guilt, which Christina also talks about. She reveals:
It's hard to know you won't have all the right answers at the right times. And 'mom guilt' is the worst thing ever. But you have to surrender and let go, knowing you're doing your very best and no one loves them, or wants what's best for them more than you.
She's right about that! Christina and Matthew make really cute kids! Will they go for another one soon? I hope so!
