____If you haven't already heard, we're supposed to have another long, snowy winter. I'm all for braving the weather to get in some outdoor fun, but sometimes it's just not possible. There are only so many days that digging your hands into the freezing cold snow can be fun, but I'm sure you also don't really want to be stuck inside and bored out of your mind with a small child for days on end.

Recreate the 'Polar Express'
You've probably already done the tent/fort thing, but have you tried a train? Use furniture and some blankets to create a faux train with a polar express like atmosphere. Handmake tickets, serve cocoa, read the story and sing a few songs. If you don't mind the screen time, you could even do a movie showing.
Seasonal Coloring Pages
When your creativity is zapped, use someone else's. A quick online search for "free winter coloring pages" will yield lots of results. Print off a bunch and keep them in a folder for your kids to grab when they're looking for something to do. Even my toddler is a huge fan of coloring pages.
Spa Day
Even little kids can appreciate a bit of pampering. Gather up some products you don't mind sharing and do face masks, foot massages and hair treatments. You could even try DIYing some products with your kids. Hopefully, you'll end up with nice, relaxed, QUIET children later in the day.
Make Indoor Snow Castles
Haul a few buckets of snow to your bath tub, bundle your kids up and bring out their beach toys. Whatever can be used to make a sand castle can also be used to make a snow castle.
Treasure Hunt
Whether you pick up some trinkets from the dollar aisle, use spare change or just collect some found objects, you can create an indoor treasure hunt for your kids. Just hide the items throughout the house and either post clues on sticky notes or draw up a little map for them to follow.
Board Game Marathon
You know how much everyone loves family game night? Imagine if you devoted a whole day to it. Gather up as many board games as you can (you might want to buy some new ones in advance), and let each member of the family choose one. Then, spend the entire day playing them marathon style. Don't forget the snacks!
