The 10 best makeup primers for every skin type

I never EVER apply makeup without prepping my skin with a primer first. Why? Because I refuse to leave my house with funky foundation streaks, noticeable pores and manchas, and worst of all–a shiny face! It's the only way I can keep my makeup intact and my skin looking flawless for hours. But not all primers are one-size-fits-all. My quest to find a primer that would give me that "I woke up like this" look without the intense shine was unfortunately, a long one. There was even a time where I swore primers just weren't for me. But I'm telling you girl, there's a primer out there for everyone!

I've spoken to plenty of makeup artists throughout my career and every single one of them swears by makeup primer. Not sure what primer is? It's that stuff you apply after moisturizing but right before putting your makeup on. A good primer does it all, from filling in wrinkles, blurring pores and other imperfections, evening skin and allowing your makeup to stay put for hours.

But like I mentioned earlier, not all formulas are created equal. Here are the 10 best makeup primers for every skin type and beauty need!
