3-year-old donates ALL of her hair to other kids with cancer

A 3-year-old girl just proved to the world that you can never be too young to do a selfless, kind gesture for another. Little Ariana of Winterport, Maine was with her father as he played video games for charity when they stumbled upon a video of a hospitalized girl who was bald. When her parents explained that some medical conditions and drug treatments make your hair fall out, Ariana didn't miss a beat and offered her hair up to make another girl feel pretty.

A week after watching the video, the family took their daughter for her first haircut and donated 10 inches of her hair to Locks of Love, an organization that provides hairpieces to disadvantaged children suffering from medical hair loss. Photos from Ariana's first hair cut and her story have gone viral online and we can see why. She's grinning ear to ear at the thought of helping someone else with something she has plenty of and looks so super cute in her bob haircut in the end.

This story also reminds me of my best friend's 6-year-old daughter Andrea who just a week ago asked that she get a haircut to donate it to Locks of Love. A whopping 11 inches was donated to the organization and as soon they returned home, she wanted to get on the site and to see which of the little girls pictured was wearing her hair. Now she wants to grow it out all over again so more kids can have hair and we are so, so proud of her for thinking of others. These inspiring stories just warm my heart and make me want to hug the parents that are raising such big-hearted humans. They're definitely doing it right!
