Being a single parent definitely isn't easy. For some women it's the most difficult job out there. But is it really that hard for someone like Jennifer Lopez? The singer and mom of 6-year-old twins Emme and Max, recently talked about family life in Elle U.K.'s October issue. She even admitted wishing she "could have held together" her marriage to Marc Anthony for the kids. Wait, what?

Jennifer might be living the glamorous life, but the 45-year-old claims her biggest challenge these days is being a single parent. "It's not easy. I'm from a traditional background. It takes two people to make a kid for a reason," she says. "It's tough because I know they feel the void of that male presence."
In fact, J.Lo feels that void so much there was a time when she almost regretted leaving her ex-husband, Marc Anthony. "When Marc and I first broke up, I did think: 'I wish I could have held this together.' But when you realize it's not the right thing for anybody, you think" 'OK, well how do we make this work, how to do we make this better, how do we make this great for the children anyway?'"
I can't blame Jennifer for feeling that way, but I'm not exactly feeling sorry for her either. She's right, single parenting isn't easy. But it's WAY easier when you're getting a ton of help–which I'm sure she has! I know single moms who live paycheck to paycheck just to get by. J.Lo doesn't just have loads of money but she has a nanny and she's lucky enough to always have her mother, Guadalupe, around too. Did I mention she traveled with the family while Jennifer promoted her new album, A.K.A?
The woman has it all. Even if she wasn't a mega super star, she could count on her millionaire babies' daddy, Marc to hook her up with six figures worth of child support every month. So as I said, I don't feel sorry for Jennifer. Single parenting isn't fun whichever way you look at it but when youur name is Jennifer Lopez it definitely makes it a whole lot easier!
