Seriously, I'm all for the runway beauty looks during Fashion Week, but it's not often I find something I can actually pull off. Sorry, but blue lipstick and embellished eyebrows just aren't for me! But fortunately this fall is all about minimalist (aka wearable!) beauty styles. I'm talking everything from classic red lips to brown smoky eyes, even cobalt blue winged liners. Seriously, who doesn't look good with a nice cat-eye?

I'm not going to lie, ninety-nine-point-nine percent of the time Fashion Week looks don't work in real life settings. Let's face it, you can't walk into a corporate office (or anywhere else for that matter) with bleached brows and crazy dramatic makeup. But you can do natural-looking full brows and you can do bold lips and nicely lined eyes for pretty much any occasion. Here are eight Fall 2014 beauty trends that actually work in real life!

Bronzed smoky eye
This season it's less about dark dramatic smoky eyes and more about pretty bronzy shades. Look for a palette that contains neutral colors that can easily take you from day to night. I'm obsessed with Dior 5-Colour Designer All-In-One Artistry Palette ($60). The deep browns and golden shades look especially nice against a medium or dark complexion.
Plum eyes
Last fall we saw beautiful plum shades on lips and nails, this season we're seeing them on eye makeup too. For a look that's chic but still wearable, try an eyeshadow palette that consists of neutral and purple-ish shades like, Dolce & Gabbana Eye Color Quad in Vulcano ($60). Blend a dark brown shadow all over your lids (into the crease area) and then layer with a plum shade.
Red lips & green eyes
Red lips will always be in, but don't be afraid to pair them with bold emerald eyes. Try tracing your lower waterlines with a intense color, like Smashbox Always Sharp Waterproof Kohl Liner in Green ($30). Choose a bright red lipstick with a matte finish, like CoverGirl Lip Perfection Lipstick in Hot ($8).
Metallic shadows
Metallic shadows are actually a lot more wearable than you'd think. For a more subtle look, try a matte cream formula with a soft shimmer, like Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Shadow in Antique Gold ($25). It helps bring out your skin's warm undertones.
Bold blue eyes
Who would have thought bright blue eye makeup could be so pretty and practical? Try drawing on a cat-eye using a smudge-proof, liquid pencil like L'Oréal Paris Infallible Silkissime Eyeliner in Cobalt Blue ($9).
Cat-Eye
Sleek, winged cat-eyes are going to be big this season. Still don't know how to master the classic look? Try Too Faced Cat-Eye Kit ($12). This is as fool-proof as it gets!
Natural glow
Let face it's, a clean flawless face will never go out of style. For a soft and dewy look, try an illuminating foundation, like Dior Diorskin Nude Skin-Glowing Makeup SPF 15 ($49). Apply a cream or liquid based blush to the apples of your cheeks, like Flower Kiss Me Twice Cheek Chubby in Can't Refuchsia ($10).
Full brows
You can't go wrong with full brows, but the more natural-looking the better. Fill them in with Anastasia Perfect Brow Pencil ($23) using soft, feathery strokes, then comb and blend.
