Lose weight with Jennifer Lopez’s favorite power smoothie

Jennifer Lopez recently did the 22-day vegan cleanse similar to Beyonce and Jay-Z's, all with the help of exercise physiologist, Marco Borges. As you can imagine, Jenny from the Block probably picked up some healthy tips from her experience. She actually shared at a community health fair in the Bronx one recipe for a smoothie she swears by that is delicious and perfect for any diet!

As a mom and a mogul in the entertainment industry, I'm sure J.Lo has a crazy schedule which leaves her little time in between to prepare meals. While doing the vegan cleanse she discovered a spinach protein smoothie that not only acted as a meal replacement, but as her daily fuel.

She became aware that certain things she ate made her feel sluggish which made her wonder about her kids' health as well. J.Lo swears by this smoothie which is filled with fiber, Omega-3 fatty acids and is perfect for the morning, noon, or evening.

Ingredients:

1 handful spinach
1 frozen banana
1 cup rice milk
2 scoops almond or sunflower butter
1 scoop protein powder
