Try this amazingly creamy cocada Venezolana & fall in love with coco!

I've really been into coconut lately. I just find it delectable whether it be with chocolate or in ice cream, or sprinkled on top of just about anything. Now I mostly eat the fleshy part of the coconut, but as a child ever visit we made to Mexico included stopping for some fresh agua de coco. It was a refreshing treat that I couldn't find as readily in the U.S.

Coconut water is having a moment and you can find it packaged and for sale at many stores. If you are into coconut, I suggest you try this cocada Venezolana (frozen coconut smoothie). This recipe calls for condensed milk, but you can replace it with regular milk or coconut milk and sweeten to taste. Do not leave out the pinch of salt (unless you have to), as salt does wonders to enhance the flavor of sweet treats.
