A two-year-old New Mexico toddler suffering from a degenerative eye disease had her vision saved, all thanks to the generosity of two strangers.
Pamela Soto suffered from an eye condition that causes the retinas to deteriorate. With the vision in one eye already gone and the other quickly fading, the little girl's only chance at keeping her eyesight was to undergo a $35,000 operation, which her family couldn't afford on their own. Desperate to help her daughter, Pamela's mother began visiting local business to ask for donations. Little did she know that move would end up leading her to the people who'd help save her daughter's vision!

According to Yahoo! Shine, Pamela's mom knocked on the door of a construction company owned by Danny Watson and Jimmy Cooper. At the time, she had only raised about $5,000 towards the expensive surgery. But after hearing the woman's story, Watson and Cooper decided to change that.
The two men donated the entire amount needed for the surgery anonymously and Pamela underwent procedure in a Michigan hospital in May. She is currently recuperating, but now has full vision in both eyes. After the surgery, Watson and Cooper revealed themselves to the family and even got to meet little Pamela in person at her parent's home last week.
What an amazing story! With all the terrible stories we hear on a daily basis, it's easy to forget that there are some genuinely kindhearted people out there willing to lend a helping hand when they can. Both Watson and Cooper are heroes and proof there are some truly good individuals out there.
