I've been on a mission to bring my curls back to health by using natural and nourishing hair products that are as chemical-free as possible. Why? Well because what a lot of people don't realize, is that the ingredients used in most conventional hair products many times consist of harmful chemicals like artificial fragrances, phthalates, petroleum based polymers, sulfates, silicones and parabens that strip hair (especially dry-prone rizos) of its natural oils and leave curls dry and damaged. Fortunately for you, I looked high and low and found a good number of all-natural curly goodies and for WAY less than I would have ever imagined! The first thing people say when you talk to them about all-natural and organic curly hair products is, "That must cost you an arm and leg!" I'm not going to lie, a lot of them do.
