Cuban-coffee picadillo is sure to perk up the whole family

I've told you before and I'm sure I will tell you many more times that I am a big fan of having ground beef in my freezer at all times because it is so easy to make a quick meal out of it, especially if you want to throw everything together in one pot and be done with it.

Well, I have another example of something deliciously wonderful that can be made using ground beef and I may be a little overly excited about it. It is a recipe for Cuban-coffee chili. Yes, you read that write my dears! It's like a version of picadillo that uses strong coffee for added POW and flavor! I'm a lover of strong coffee and tend to have some left in the pot, so now I know what to use it for. I have to say I'm a little surprised it never occurred to me to do this before. Live, learn and eat something delicious, I say!
