Here’s how to make your own DIY no-poo shampoo

Everyone knows by now that regular shampoos (that contain sulfates & lather) aren't the best for your hair. These formulas are made with strong detergents, known for stripping hair's natural oils, leaving strands dry and dull.

After making the switch to natural shampoos, I can guarantee you it makes a HUGE difference, especially on curly or heat-styled hair. But what about if you don't have 30 bucks to cough up on a fancy No-poo shampoo or cleansing conditioner? Don't stress girl—you can make your own!

Yes, you heard that right. You can totally make your own cleansing conditioner. All it takes is a ONE simple (and affordable) ingredient you can probably find right in your kitchen. Wanna guess what the miracle ingredient is? Apple Cider Vinegar of course! Not only does it throughly cleanse your hair of product buildup, dirt and oil but it's also a great dry scalp or dandruff fix. Jessica Alba even admitted on an appearance on The Dr. Oz Show that she totally washes her hair using a natural apple cider vinegar hair rinse. Here's what you need to do!

Ingredients:

1 cup of water

2 tablespoons or organic (unrefined) apple cider vinegar

 What to do:

All you have to do is mix the two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar with the 1 cup of water. You can add more depending on your hair length and texture. Then pour over your hair and thoroughly rinse it out. That's it!

I recommend doing this at least once a week. Especially if you tend to use a lot of products throughout the week. WARNING: Your hair will look softer, cleaner and shiner!
