One of my favorite alcoholic beverages during the summer time are pina coladas. Unfortunately we all know that they pack too much sugar and are terrible for the waistline. That's a big no-no especially during swimsuit season! However I found a little loophole that allows me to indulge in the flavors infused in a pina colada only healthier.

It might seem hard to believe that a smoothie can make up for the flavor in a super rich pina colada, but it totally can! You'll fall in love with the blend of the banana, pineapple and secret coconut ingredient in this delicious beverage. Not only will it get your sweet tooth satisfied, but you will also be getting vital nutrients your body needs.
Here is what you will need to recreate the recipe at home. Trust me, once you make this you will never look at your favorite fruity drinks the same way again! Check out the full recipe and ingredients below.
Ingredients:
1 cup of Pineapple chunks
1 1/2 medium bananas
1/2 a cup of Vita Coco pure coconut water (or coconut water of your choice)
1 cup of Silk unsweetened almond milk
1/2 cup of Fage Plain Total 0% Greek yogurt
1/2 cup of coconut meat (optional)
Directions:
Mix the banana and coconut water first, then add Greek yogurt and pineapple chunks along with almond milk. If you have coconut meat on hand, blend it in as well until smooth. If you find your recipe needs more liquid, add as much almond milk and coconut water as you like for the perfect consistency.
