Call me crazy, but I think that clutter breeds while I'm not looking. I'm serious, it doesn't matter how much I pick up, put away and clean, clutter finds a way to be seen. I get rid of stuff on a regular basis and even try the whole one thing out of the home for every new thing in and clutter continues to rule. It's hard to feel like your home is clean when it is cluttered. It starts to feel like the walls are caving in on you.
Fine, I've decided to make peace with clutter, but only if it compromises with me. The clutter needs to stay hidden so that when I sit down at the end of the day, I don't feel like I have to get up to put a million things away.
